Just like cars, your body too if maintained, regularly checked, and is finely tuned can operate at its maximum capacity.
The problem is, most of us have never been taught to look after our bodies and often we ignore our body’s until it is too late to do something about it. One of the reasons we don’t operate at our maximum capacity is that we’re not aligning what we do on a day to day basis with who we really are.
Ask yourself the following questions and write down your answers in your journal:
What do I truly love doing?
What am I gifted at doing?
What gives me the greatest satisfaction?
What is not work to me?
What do I naturally gravitate towards?
What do others consistently tell me I am good at?
You too can start your journey to operating at you maximum capacity, all you need is clarity on who you are, what you love doing and why you love doing what you do.
Your answers to these questions will begin to unveil your strengths. Identify your strengths and then strengthen those strengths through practice. Happiness and peace occur every time you’re operating in your strengths.
Birds have wings – they fly. Fish have gills – they swim. Humans have strengths – the things they dream of, they love doing and are naturally talented to do, or find themselves gravitating to all the time. This is where they must live if they are to ever reach their maximum capacity.
But know this – that you have a lifetime to discover these. Never fear trying – for it is in trying and even in failing that you will learn and clarify what are your strengths, and where you should expend your energies.
So, what are you waiting for? Get busy strengthening, wake up each day and do something that brings you closer to what you gravitate towards. Live and let love lead your path.
